The service

Nua Recovery provides sports massage, deep tissue and recovery treatments in Drogheda, Ireland. Treatments are complementary therapy, not medical care: we do not diagnose medical conditions, and nothing on this site or said in a session is medical advice. If your assessment suggests you need a physiotherapist or doctor, we will tell you.

Bookings & cancellations

• Appointments can be booked online, by email, or by message. Your slot is confirmed when you receive a confirmation.
• Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule so the slot can go to someone else.
• Cancellations with less notice, or no-shows, may incur a fee of up to 50% of the session price. Genuine emergencies are treated with common sense.
• Arriving late shortens your session; the full price still applies, as the following appointment can't be moved.

Payment

• Payment is due at the session, by card or cash. Prices are as listed on the site and may change with notice — a booked session is honoured at the price shown when you booked.
• Blocks of five sessions are valid for 12 months from purchase and are not transferable between people. Unused block sessions are refundable at the difference between the block rate and the standard rate for sessions already used.
• An itemised receipt is provided after every session for health-insurance claims. Whether your insurer reimburses you is a matter of your own policy.

Your responsibilities

• Give complete and accurate health information at intake and tell us about any changes — this is what lets us treat you safely.
• Tell your therapist during the session if pressure is too much, or anything is uncomfortable. Feedback is expected, not rude.
• Do not attend with a fever, contagious illness, or in the first 48–72 hours after an acute injury — message us and we'll rearrange without penalty.

Liability

We hold full professional and public liability insurance. Mild soreness for 24–48 hours after deep work is a normal response and not an injury. Our liability is limited to the price of the session except where the law does not permit such a limit; nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
