Nua Recovery ("we", "us") provides sports and recovery massage in Drogheda, Ireland. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and what rights you have. Contact: hello@nuarecovery.ie.
What we collect, and why
- Contact details. Your name, email and phone number, used to manage your bookings and send appointment reminders. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Health intake information. Relevant medical history, injuries and conditions you tell us about at assessment. We need this to treat you safely. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Treatment notes. What was assessed and treated at each visit, kept so your care carries over between sessions and as required by professional insurance.
- Basic technical logs. Our website host processes IP addresses and request logs to serve and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your health information is never shared with anyone without your consent, except where the law requires it. Treatment notes are stored securely and retained for 8 years in line with standard guidance for therapy records, then deleted.
